Didnt sleep well last night. Kept having dreams. Two different dreams somemore, made me so lethargic even though I've slept the whole night through. Yawn....

My kids having their tests now. After I've gone through the answers with them (Science test), Im already breathless le cuz must explain everything. Duhz! Was damn tired yesterday and today while on my way back. Kept drifting to slumberland in the bus.

++++++++

One of a P4 Science test question.

The question : Suggest 1 method of preventing wrigglers from breeding in the pond.

Here are some of the answers which I found them quite hilarious.

*Make a waterfall so that the wrigglers can wriggle away*

*Put cupboard on top of the pond*

*Use a basin and collect the wrigglers and pour on the soil*

*Put spiderweb across the pond*

*Take all the wrigglers out and burn it*

LOL. What were these kids thinking man?!!

Went to AMK to have a late lunch. There's this famous stall selling western food and it even appeared on TV. The owner is an American and heard they've opened about 4 stalls in Sg already. Their customers were all coming in non-stop de, biz damn good. Oh yah! Forgot to mention the name, it's called "BOTAK JONES".

I've got a craving for noodles so I did not order the western food. I did order only fries from them lah. Turned out the fries costs $3 and it came quite a huge bowl of it.

I couldnt finish eating them thus requested for a take-away instead. A while later, I saw some scribblings on the styrofoam box. There's a msg inside!

I took a closer look and saw this :

Errmm... I think its juz one of their biz gimmick lah (or is it?).

At times, marking my kids worksheets really crack me up.

Eg. Why must animals reproduce?

The correct answer : To prevent extinction.

One kid's answer : To make the life become happier (-__-)"

Eg. What is used to measure how hot or cold an object is?

The correct answer : Thermometer.

One kid's answer : Measuring tape (-__-)""

They really have all sorts of answers in their lil' brain!

Thanks to Fion again for getting me a nice GUESS clutch bag! Muaks!

Recalling back on what took place on Mon, that's also my birthday. Been wanting to blog earlier but everytime Im home, my bro will be seen hogging the computer. I know that people do check out my blog quite often to see if I've updated. Hehe, well, here I am updating!! =)

After I've blogged the last entry, birthday wishes from frenz and colleagues came flooding in. Thank you guyz so much for still remembering and bothering to =)

I went to work as usual on Monday. I was wearing a new skirt that is quite short and the moment I stepped into class, my students started to tease me....

"Teacher, wah, you so sexy today ah!"

"Teacher, take off your cardigan!"

"Teacher, take off all your clothes!!"

(-___-)""

Oh boy, why did I have such lecherous P4 kids? Somemore it's the girls making all the comments, haha!

I jokingly replied that I cannot take off my clothes lah otherwise Mr Tan aka my uncle will scold me de. Hurhur.

Then after work, my 2 dearest Alicias were waiting for me in the office to pass me my pressies. Thanks so much gals! They got 2 tops and 1 belt for me. Aunt D realised it's my birthday during our conversation and she gave me a red packet consisting of $50 =)

After which I took a cab down to Orchard Cine to meet LambChop for dinner. What I did not expect was that when I reached KBOX, I saw Billy, Robert (a fren who's in charge of KPOOL) and 2 others Msian girls whom I dunno de waiting for me. It turned out that we're all going for dinner together!

And I further did not expect that Robert's birthday is the same day as mine!!! Hehe! I shook hands with him and wished him "Happy Birthday" and after which teased him why he didnt wish me back. He's stoned at first, digesting my words and after I told him the coincidence, he laughed and wished me back too. =D

Billy drove us to Central @ Clark Quay and treated us to dinner there. They were so nice to let me choose which restaurant to dine at. I really enjoyed their company even though the bunch of them are very frank, straight-forward and sarcastic. Hehe. Occasionally with "NABEH" shooting from their mouths as they hurled remarks at each other. We all know the sarcasm is harmless de, that's what makes them so fun! At least they 开得起玩笑咯!

P/s. Thanks to mummy who gave me an ang bao of $80 for my bday.

Pp/s. Juz when I thought my birthday this year will be dull, boring and lonely, it turned out to be well instead. Life is really full of the unexpected!

Saw a familiar face on the bus when I was on my way to work on Fri. Initially it was just a glance. He looked at me and smiled. Then I took a second look, smiled back and made my way towards him. Sat down next to him and we started to chat.

He's my secondary school classmate, Hanyi and he lives near me too! It's been so long since we last saw each other. But his brother and he are still contacting my sister cuz she's their financial planner.

Realised that his work place is near mine also, only few stops away. We chatted alot, talked about our common frenz whom we both lost contact with. Then he alighted first while I continued my boring journey to work.

It's nice to see long lost frenz once a while and get to know how they are doing in life now that everyone has gone their separate ways. =)

My dad very funny. He is illiterate and few days ago, he bought some containers to put the salt and sugar in it. Think the old ones are dirty le bah. Anyway, I was having my lunch when he came to me with a marker and asked me how to write SALT in chinese. (Our conversation was in chinese cum dialect)

Me : I dunno leh, I forgot le. (Used my hp to check for him)
Him : You dunno how to write, how to be a teacher and go teach others??
Me : WHAT! I also not teaching Chinese mah! =/

Then a while later, he came to me again and asked me the English word for SUGAR.

Him : Is it call SWEET huh?
Me : *Confused for a while* No lah! Is call SUGAR lah~!

HAHAHA! He did a direct translation from Chinese to English. Liddat also can.

One of my girlfriend is facing relationship problems. Met up with her recently for dinner after we knocked off from work. We started to talk about r/s stuff and she said sadly that if her bf were to give her another chance (they're still together but the guy said needs to think things over whether they're really suitable for each other), she will treat him better, treat his mother better and will improve herself, etc etc.

Sigh, already warned her before le. Now then the regrets. For me, I can proudly say that I never have any regrets in life for everything I did. Becuz everything I did, I put in my very best. Even though things I did were foolish and naive but at least, I will not have any regrets later.

Quoting from a magazine, "Life is too short to live it full of endless regrets and 'what-ifs'"

Ending this entry with a picture of a sibei cute sushi.

A week ago, (yaya, I know all my posts are not really updated), LambChop asked to meet up cuz she wanna cook dinner for me. Im quite free so I onz her. Took train down Novena Sq to go grocery shopping with her. My mum cooked yummilicious curry that day and I took some along too.

She's supposed to drive down my place to fetch me but her colleague drove the company's car without informing her. Anyway, her colleague only came to fetch us from Novena Sq after we did our shopping. Then we drove to her place and she started to do the cooking while I... stood aside to chat with her. I dunno how to cook mah! Duhz!

After a while, I got quite hot as the kitchen's not well ventilated so she suggested me going to her room and on the air-con. And so I did! Fyi, she's not a local thus she's staying with her colleagues. KBOX bought the whole building located at Rangoon for their foreign staff to stay at. The place is enormous.

Only took a pic of their living room using her camera cuz I didnt bring mine that day. Not well-decorated and quite vacant as it's a shared area by many others. From pic, the place dont look that spacious as I mentioned but the whole building itself belongs to them.

Her cosy lil' bed with her adorable plushies....

Finally when she's done with her cooking, we got ready to tuck in! Even though the dishes were quite simple but they tasted delectable. Juz like any home cooked meal. =)

ishes she whipped up included chicken in soy sauce, vegetables and pork with eggs but cuz too much pork, cant "find" any eggs in them as a result! Haha!! And I told her the pork tasted abit like peanut? Hmmm....

After dinner, we went to her room and watched vcd while eating dessert --> cakes from Bakerz In!

At 11 plus, she sent me home. The next day, I was on mc cuz of gastric problem. I shouldnt have eaten grapes early in the morning on an empty stomach. Duhz! Plus I was having Mon blues and juz dont have the mood to work. In the end, I woke Fion from her sleep and we met up a while at Orchard to walk around.

Learnt from LambChop later that she's also on MC on Mon too due to food poisoning (-__-)""

I teased her and said food poisoning from the food she cooked ah? Then she asked me whether I was down with food poisoning too? I wasnt lah. Mine's gastric problem.

Sort of celebrated my birthday. I booked a room at Grand Copthorne WaterFront that's juz next to ZOUK!

The day started off with me teaching at Sk as usual. Went to Compass Point for a walk and had lunch by myself cuz there's time to kill before collecting my room at 2pm. Had Gyoza ramen but I only managed to finish 3/4 of it cuz my gastric problem came back (again) sigh. Kept feeling nauseous.

I also bought bak kwa and my crispy fish crackers as snacks in case we got hungry at night.

Then I took a cab down to Kim Seng Rd, where the hotel's located. Collected my room and was very satisfied with it.

Day mode of the room.

In-built wardrobe where you can find bathrobes, iron, ironing board, a torch light and a safe inside.

The room has a small bench at the entrance of the room to let us put our stuff on and it has lots of couches around too (as seen in the 2nd pic).

But we didnt pay much attention on them as we spent most of the time lazing on their super comfy king size bed.

Next, I explored their mini bar that's found below the Tv.

Lastly, I explored the last inch of the room.... my favourite bathroom!!!

Day mode of the scenery outside. Errm, not really nice lah cuz all buildings. I even was so bo liao that I zoom in my camera and took pics of the swimming pool below with 2 ang mohs sun-tanning.

No bikini babes lah but 2 fat ang moh couple. Sorry to disappoint you. Ang mohs mostly so fat de when age caught up with them. Reason is that they have fried food everyday! They eat fries for every meal *puke* and they drink beer like plain water. All ladies are good drinkers. These are what I saw and experienced when I visited Aussie 2 years back lah. God, I do love fries but for every meal and everyday.... Plus there's NO CHILLI sauce there!!!! If you are lucky, you might get to purchase from the stalls. In sg, you get the sauces for free. Over there, a lil' packet costs around 50 cents okie! Gosh!!

Back to my story. It was still hours away before fren could come down to meet me so I did what I always do when Im alone.... with a camera.

My zi-lian-ness began!!

Sweet looking nightie.

I watched "Harry Potter -- The Goblet Of Fire" on HBO while waiting. Went down to fetch fren at about 6pm cuz the lift requires security card.

Then I got bo liao again and took pics of the room and the view outside in night mode. Hmm, but the view outside looked blurry here as Im taking the pic through the glass thus cant use my flash and if I dun use my flash mode, the pics tend to blur easily even if my hands are steady and not shaking. My camera juz aint good enough.

My usual bubble bath and I totally enjoyed it.

The tub was full of bubbles in the rosy pink water and the sweet fragrance of rose filled the air. Unfortunately, the water's too hot and I had to lower the temperature by adding more cold water to the already filled to the brim bathtub.

I love bubble baths! Need I say more? Sooo Shiok!
