Dad's friend gave him a fish few days ago. It's a Soon Hock, the one that was served at my sis's dinner on Sunday. My dad machiam garung-guni lah. He likes to sup things that others threw away or don't want anymore. Stuff that he had "collected" in the past till now include paintings, jigsaw puzzle that was nicely framed, 2 birds (a lovebird and a mini parrot), dog food, etc etc etc... AND now fish!! =(

But we don't have any aquarium at home to rear the fish leh. He made a stupid suggestion that was chided by me. He told me to take the live fish with me to my tuition center and see whether my relatives wanna rear it!!! He siao ahh? If they don't want (which is most probably) then I gotta carry the fish home again with me ah?? I am taking public transport ok!! Duhz!!

In the end, he placed the fish in a lil' basin and put it under our dining table.

The next day, at night, I heard a loud splash of water from the kitchen. I thought that some inconsiderate neighbour had poured water down the building. A while later, I went to the kitchen and looked out of the window in the dark. Hmmm... cant really see anything, so I went back to the living room to mind my own business.

About 10 mins later, I went to the kitchen to wash my hands. When I turned and was making my way back to the living room, I saw something black on the floor. Not wearing my contact lens, I squatted down to take a closer look.

To my utmost horror, the fish had leapt out of the basin and crawled/wriggled a distance away from the basin. It wasn't moving, neither was its gill cover. I feared that it might be dead due to the lack of water so I screamed my lungs out at my brother who was playing games on the computer.

Ah xiong!!! Quick come save the fish!! It has leapt out of the basin!! Come quick Come save it!!!"

My bro dashed to the scene and using his bare hands, he caught hold of the fish and put it back into the water. Luckily it was still alive =))))

The first thought on my mind was that it wanna escape from us. Or maybe it wanna commit suicide. Haizz. Then I woke my mum who was sleeping and told her about the incident. Mum said she had already told Dad off and she wanted him to give it to a worker at his workplace. The worker could cook the fish to eat as the meat of Soon Hock tasted yummy.

Hearing this, I felt so sad for the lil' fish. It's still a baby fish leh, seeing how it tried to escape earlier on made me feel so sorry for it. I talked sense into Mum, telling her its too cruel and we should juz set if free. Mum began to agree with me too. She told me to put something above the basin so that the fish would not be able to leap out again and I followed her instruction immediately.

The next day, I told Dad about the incident and talked sense into him too about setting it free instead of letting others cook it. It's juz too cruel. The thought of cooking it when it's still alive in front of me juz made me wanna weep. Ya lah, I am simply too emotional when it comes to animals getting hurt or killed. I dunno Dad will insist on giving it to the worker or not but I had done my best for the poor thing.

This afternoon, I realized that the fish was gone!! Asked Dad of the whereabouts of the fish and he said that he had set it free in the big canal near his workplace. I feel so happy =)))))

Weekend is over in the twinkling of an eye. Tml is Monday again. Hopefully I won't have any blues.... As usual, I will have to walk the long long path to the center.

I worked in an underground center that's actually an air raid shelter. Thus phone reception damn bad de. At times if I'm lucky, smses still manage to reach me and phone manages to ring but hor, I can't reply at all nor hear what the caller says due to the poor poor reception.

Always remind my friends lots of times about it but it always slip their minds. In the end, they will complain why I did not reply or answer their calls. Sigh. Not I don't want to lah but I can't. I have to wait till my classes are over then I can reply them when I'm out of the center. That will be like... few hours later already. So pls don't get mad at me if you can't reach me. I will try to once I can =)

Received quite a number of stuff I've purchased online but I'm too lazy to take pics of them so I will only post 2 of the accessories lor. Pics taken from the website itself.

Lurve the design of the earrings. Adore anything that looks gothic. Unfortunately the gold metal used in the making was of poor quality. Disappointed at how the product turned out to be. The seller's items were selling fast everytime she puts them up for sale. I sort of have high expectation of it. Definitely not worth the money as I've paid quite an amount for it =(

This piece was flown in all the way from HongKong!! What I see is what I get. Im damn satisfied with it and it's so cheap!! Plus shipping everything, it's less than $20!! What a catch! Aunt D exclaimed it looked beautiful too =D

Initially wanna wait till weekend to start blogging on my next entry. But... But... I saw something that traumatized me deeply!!!!!!!

Therefore, I tell myself, I NEED TO BLOG IT OUT!!!!

I was juz going to shut down my com after 2 hours of surfing around the Internet when I remembered that it's been ages since I last logged into my account at myspace. I checked my friendster almost daily but not myspace.

As usual, I received many messages and friends request from men of all races, ages and nationalities. I also noticed that I've received a new comment for one of my photo. Here's what the man commended.

"Wow..Serene, you have a beautiful pair of long legs. I do have fetish for long legged lady just like you ;)"

Wahahaha. Your friend ahh? The word FETISH somehow made me raise an eyebrow. No offence to you, Mr Aaron. Thanx so much for your *cough* compliment. Then again he's not the reason for this blog.

Wasnt feeling well already few days ago. Told myself I couldnt fall sick on my sis's wedding days so I tried my best not to. Unfortunately, the moment I reached home last night, my eyes felt painful and my head felt like it's gonna explode anytime. On top of that, my gastric was feeling queasy again and the heavy flu had stayed with me for 1 week already. Sigh. Had to pop a panadol before I sleep. Today when I came back from work, the terrible headache came back. Haizz. Dunno is it due to my contact lens but I've juz changed a new pair last week =(

Overall, the dinner last night was not so bad. However, I felt that the make-up artist and photographer were not really professional.

Everyone was saying how pretty I was yesterday, hehe. They praised that dressing was gorgeous and make-up looked so good that my brother-in-law's sister thought it was done by the make-up artist. **HAPPY**

Stuff I've purchased online arrived. Very happy with the necklace, lurve it sooo much! Will post pics next time cuz this entry is juz a brief one. I need more rest. The top I bought was okay too. But hor, am very disppointed with the earrings I got from YC. The quality was so poor that I reckon it shouldnt even be worth more than 10 bucks. I paid about $15 for each pair, totalled $45. Heartache, bank account ached even more.

Am blogging halfway when Edwin, who left his comment in my previous entry logged in. Nice chatting with U lah and remember to pay me counselling fees next time U need me to counsel U again. Hehe. Dunno how many times he wanna faint while talking to me on msn cuz Im so full of nonsense (as usual)...

Only had about 3 hours of sleep last night as I had to wake up at 5am this morning. post phoned my class to next week cuz it's sis BIG DAY today. God, I was sooo tired!! The make-up artist and photographer reached my place shortly after I woke up. Sigh, no choice, had to quickly change and apply my make-up before my sis's sisters and the groom came.

Today is only the tea ceremony, the solemnization and dinner will be tml night. Anyway, I dunno why my face started to itch and had some rashes while putting my make-up on. Luckily it went away after a while, still, think it's due to it that my make-up doesnt look as good. Sigh, of all days....

The sisters had planned a series of pranks to be played on the groom and his brothers. It was quite funny to see my brother-in-law sing loudly and danced while being locked outside. I did not participate in the fun cuz Im quite an anti-social person. I didnt help my sister today, already told her beforehand to get her frenz to help her. Everything went really well.

My boss came at about 630am with his wife and son. My cousin helped to open the car doors of the groom but they left after that as my cousin still had tuition and my boss wanna go back to work. They smsed me that the groom was so anxious to marry my sister that he tripped as he dashed his way up my place. Haha!

Brother-in-law and his frenz were really sporty and they took on all the challenges threw upon them from the sisters. My place was never so full of life and laughter before. The couple went to the groom's side after he managed to "go through all obstacles" to finally see his beautiful wife. For me and brother, we were so exhausted that we slept once everyone left. They were to be back 3 hours later to offer tea to the female's side and to have the buffet lunch.

My dog had been such a darling and she's really excited too. Somehow she seemed to sense that my sis is leaving our family le thus she kept going to her whenever she had the chance. She also had been busy following everyone around. Plus camera-shy Baby kept circling around the couple and my relatives whenever the photographer wanted to take pics of them. Machiam she wanna 抢镜头. Hehe. After so much activities, my Baby fell asleep with my bro and me in my air-conditioned room and she snored really loudly too!! Duhz!

I didnt know that I had to offer tea to the couple leh, totally unprepared sia! Although Pauline did inform me before that siblings must offer tea and the couple will give red packets but but... mummy never tell me at all leh. Anyway, I felt so awkward and did as told. Not bad lah, few secs to exchange for a hundred bucks red packet.

When everything was over, bro and I went back to sleep again. Haha! It's only 9pm now and my parents and bro (he's still asleep since noon!) had gone to bed liao. Everyone had a tiring day today. Tml is yet another long day to go and I had to help out as one of her receptions at the hotel for my relatives side. Dinner is held at Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel, the one next to Zouk and where I've stayed at to celebrate my birthday this year. Small Alicia joked that I can go clubbing right after the dinner. Thanks lehhhhh.

Unfortunately, I did not take any photos of the ceremony nor my sis at all. Maybe next time when her photos from the photographer were ready then I'll try and post them here.

BUT vain me did take pics of myself again while resting in the room. LOL.

My bro deep in slumber. He will strangle me if he knows I post this horrendous pic of him. Haha.

Was quite annoyed yesterday morning while I was on my way to work. A man in a moving car stuck out his head, shouted and smiled cheekily at me as the vehicle sped past. It took me a second to realise what had happened, raise my eyebrow, gave a frown and continued walking. I know my reactions were a tad slow but it was a SAT morning and I was still half asleep. Hate it when guys teased me this way and it's the umpteenth time. So annoying can!

Been buying lots of snacks as usual. Spent about $23 at 7-11 on snacks. LOL. There's one snack that Im sure most or perhaps all have tried it before since childhood days and Im loving it again once more.

I like the snack as there's chocolate for you to dip the biscuit sticks. But sadly, I find that they should give more chocolate lah.

Know I've not been updating my blog often. Fion has even complained le, hehe. Been really busy and tired recently. Students' exams are around the corner thus teaching for this month and the next will be tedious. Often after the lessons ended, Im still quite breathless. Not only that, I had to lug all the stacks of heavy worksheets home to mark! Sigh.

Am so broke this month that Im signing my credit card again. After buying my phone, I still bought a mp3 player for my bro's birthday and a fan for my sis as her wedding gift. Sian sia! OH! When can I find a "golden turtle" then I can be a tai-tai huh.... =(

Couldnt sleep last night. Too much thoughts on my mind. My stupid dog also lah, kept scratching her body (her skin problem is back) and I had to keep waking up to scold her. Then when I finally fell asleep, fren smsed me 7 in the morning and woke me up =__=

Then I tried hard to sleep again. 9 plus had to wake up already cuz there's people coming to my home.... Bo bian had to wake up with bloodshot eyes and to shower and pat on some powder on my face to look presentable.

Soon, there was a flurry of activities going on at my place. My sis's bf came. He brought his sister along and they came with the stuff. My aunt came to help too.

Errm, the one in yellow is my mum, in pink is my sis and the other woman in the picture is my aunt lor. Their faces couldnt be seen at all cuz everyone was too busy lah and I too lazy to get a proper pic taken. Oh, in case you were wondering, my sis's bf and his sister went back already so they were not in the pic. My dad was at work so he's not at home.

And today's the day that my sis went around to distribute her wedding cakes to my relatives!! Her wedding dinner and ROM is on this coming Sunday. So fast and she's finally going to have a family of her own. Happy for her lah AND happy for myself cuz I can "take over" her wardrobes and make more space for my clothes! YAY!! =D

Mummy was so gan jiong lah cuz it's the first wedding in the family and her gan jiong-ness made everyone start to become gan jiong too! LOL! My aunt came to help cuz she's more experienced as her 2 daughters were married already. As for me? I did nothing lah, juz stand around and kaypoh only lor. But I did go to the market to buy oranges for them lah cuz not enough.

My doggie was excited too at all the activities. She was looking at everyone and tried following them around too! But the bf's sis was terrified of dogs so my duty in the morning was sort of looking after my dog bah, I guess.

While later, my baby rushed to the door, stood up and wagged her tail excitedly. Her 阿公 aka my dad was home from work.

My dad had rushed back from work cuz he had to send some wedding cakes to the people at his workplace. Guess he's getting excited over my sis's wedding too, even though his mouth had denied it and he seemed nonchalant all this while.

Hmm, I stayed home to babysit my doggie when everyone was out distributing the cakes. Took 2 vain pics using my phone cuz I simply had nothing better to do. Told a fren that I had powder on and fren retorted that I so hiao, never go out also must put make-up on ah?!

No hor, I had minimum make-up this morning, patting some powder lightly and drawing on my eyebrow. Liddat only what! I didnt even apply any eye make-up like I always did. I juz wanna look presentable as not having enough rest and sleep, my eyebags are dark rings were visible le. I dun wanna appear ghastly in front of others.

And so.... my fatigue looking pics....

Right after the pics were taken, I concussed and fell asleep! Muahaha! Smses from frenz came in asking me go ktv-ing in the noon and to meet up for drinks in the evening while Im sleeping. Hardly replied cuz Im too weary to. All energy sucked from me already.

P/s. Dear frenz, I will be busy this month cuz sis's wedding approaching and next month cuz students' exam. I might be unable to meet up most of the time so I would like to apologise first! But let me know earlier if you wanna meet me and I'll try and arrange to see whether I still have the energy to meet or not that day after all. I will be very free from the 3rd week of Oct instead cuz exam over!! Hope to see you guyz soon!!

Now everyone is asking me when's my turn to settle down. ARGGH!! Wait till I find a man who's willing to marry me first lah!!!
