It finally subsided.
Immediately, flu came along.I thought it would go away soon cuz I have sensitive nose and always kena flu de.

But hor, it became heavier and cough decided to "chap" in one leg. Now I'm down with heavy flu and minor cough, with lots of phlegm.
If I don't get better within 2-3 days, I might have to waste money and see doctor liao. My hi-tea buffet with friends is next week!! I want to eat all the good food there ahh!! If I still have flu, then nothing I eat will taste palatable. =(
Bought the very famous oyster omelette from the coffeeshop across my house. The stall has been awarded for its yummilicious food lots of times. Whenever there's any show on gourmet, they will never miss out the stall. I've been eating their oyster omelette since I was young and they're the best in S'pore! Dun play play ahh...
But! I don't really dare to eat oysters so I only savour the tasty omelette and discarded the oysters away, hehe. And I was still having sore throat on that day and to make up for the sinful food, I bought starfruit juice that's good for the throat.
Few nights ago (I have super poor memory thus couldn't remember which night), I was walking to the kitchen when I saw something flying towards me. I ran for my dear life. When I turned around, it was not in sight anymore. At that point of time, I did not have my contact lens on thus I dashed to retrieve my glasses.
Cautiously, I scanned the area where the intruder might have been hiding and managed to find its hiding place. You crafty lil' thing. You think that I would not be able to spot you eh? Not wasting a second, I rushed to get my weapon and a good weapon it is! Oh... What will I do without you....
*Digressing* All the pics that are being posted now, are taken with my hp. I've been so lazy to use my camera already. Therefore certain pics might seem a lil' blur so just make do with it lah.
This odourless insecticide is damn good! There's no pungent stench and is ideal for indoor usage. I used it lots of times and the pests all die shortly after being sprayed on.

Something traumatizing happened on Monday morning. It was about 6am and loud dog barking was heard in the neighbourhood. Apparantly, some inconsiderate neighbour allowed the pet to cause so much commotion and waking everyone from their slumber. Then the barking became a whimper and then soon after, it started to bark furiously again, then reduced to a whimper and repeated the cycle for quite a while.
Dad woke up and came into our room. He complained to Mom that the dog was so noisy that he couldn't sleep. Shortly, he decided to take Baby down for a walk and to let her do her "business".
I didn't know that he took Baby down and when I was trying hard to sleep, my phone rang. The caller was my dad -__-
I thought that he was still at home thus did not pick up his call. I walked out wearily to see why he was calling me when he was at home and to realise he was not in anymore. Then Dad called home and Mom answered. She seemed excited in their conversation and after she put down the phone, she told me that there was a dog downstairs and it did not seem to belong to any soul.
Hmmm? A lost dog was the first thing that came to my mind.
Hurriedly, she went downstairs to kaypo with my Dad. A few mins later, I was alarmed to see my Mom brought home the dog!!! When she told me the pitiful dog's situation, I felt so sad for it.
Its heartless owner had tied it to a pole just below my block and ABANDONED it there!!!!!
Can you believe it?! OMG!!!! No wonder the barkings and whimperings. It must be so terrified and upset that its owner did not want it anymore. How can anyone bear to do such a thing to the lil' dog?!
When the dog reached my place, it was obviously still shaken with the new environment and strangers as it simply couldn't stop walking around and peeing everywhere. Duhz! Luckily its urine was just a few drops and it peed in my home for nearly 20 times within an hour!!! Mummy had to take an unwanted rag to wipe its urine. We had no choice but to tie it in our kitchen so that it would not pee in the living room. Meanwhile, we started to think how to deal with it.
We could not keep it as it's a male and Baby wasn't sterilised yet. Plus there was no one available to look after it nor have the time to toilet train it. The best decision is to send it to SPCA.
Samaritan Mom even gave it a shower so that it would be clean and fed it some leftover chicken. I smsed Aunt D and asked for the number for SPCA. She replied with the information of it's operating hours and asked me what's the dog breed. I told her that it looked like a silky terrier but from its fur, it seemed rather old. However from its active behaviour, it did not feel old at all. Anyway, I even mms a pic of it and Aunt D exclaimed that it looked cute!
Haizz. No choice, we really cant keep it at our place. I don't know whether SPCA will eventually let the dog die or not if nobody were to adopt it. Haizz.... The man came to take it away at 9am and the poor dog not knowing what's happening, followed the man happily.
A day later, Mom was telling me how pitiful it was. 2 days later, Mom was still telling me how unfortunate and a poor thing it was. I know that Mom was hoping to keep it lah but it is quite impossible right now. I pray the lil' thing will find a home soon.
Took a video of it but it turned out damn dark on pc and can't really see clearly so I've removed the video.
PLS do take care of your pets till they die and do not abandon them! They are living things with feelings after all!!!
Some Korean dramas/shows are really addictive and definitely worth watching. The actors & actresses are so good that I feel local celebrities can't hold a candle to them at all.
Right now I'm catching this drama every Sunday noon. Gonna get the vcd/dvd soon as it's really frustrating to have to wait one whole week just to know what will happen next.
Ain't feeling well today. Tummy/gastric feels funny and had diarrhoea thrice. Was really weary too. Fell asleep in bus when I was only 2 stops away from my destination. Woke with a jerk and I fumbled my bag for my hp pouch (Cuz my EZ-Link card's inside the pouch). But I forgot that the pouch was on my lap lah and it dropped with a loud THUD! My poor handphone!! =(
Was chatting with one P4 student on MSN recently. Her name's Jiayi and she's a really sweet and pleasant lil' girl whom I enjoy teaching.

Mummy bought a steam Iron for me and it's really expensive, costs about $400. Lots of clothes are really difficult to iron with the normal one so I thought that the steamer iron will do me good. Initially I had quite a hard time trying to iron my clothes. But I'm slowly getting the hold of it le. Saw the salesgirls outside using it and they made it seem like a breeze.
But hor, it has one flaw....
It can't really be used at night cuz the gurgling sound it made was so loud, machiam popping popcorn!! I don't wanna get complained by my neighbour later and it would be embarrassing kena complained for ironing clothes!
Still got 1 & 1/2 week to go before my 1 mth holiday begin.
Bro-in-law and sis took us to dinner at Seletar Country Club on Saturday. It was quite an ULU place, right inside Seletar Camp and is near Seletar Airport. It was really a nice place, very serene and the food tasted nice and cheap!
Then we went to IKEA at Tampines to walk around after the meal. Dad saw a metal cupboard that he likes and he intends to keep all his boxes of buddha pendants in it. However, he did not get it eventually cuz we don't know whether it will fit in sis's car or not. He looked very disappointed and kept turning his head to look at it as we were leaving....
The next day, I smsed my friend and asked him to accompany me to get the metal cupboard. Dad's birthday is tml so instead of just giving him a red packet, the cupboard that is quite cheap becomes the perfect gift =)
Friend obliged and came to fetch me despite him being very exhausted already. As there wasn't any hawker centres nearby, he drove to Pasir Ris Park and we had our meals there. Actually he had already eaten before meeting me so he only ate fries while I ordered Pan Fried Fish.
Really hope I can go to Genting in Dec during my one month holiday. However, I don't think there will still be rooms available by then

Have you seen the news recently? The one that showed a local ah pek kenna bullied by 3 ang mohs from Britain. The one that sparked angst in fellow Singaporeans. The news and video even spread to Britain and causing a stir among the British.
Even though it was a short video but seeing the poor old man got made fun of and wasn't paid after all his hard work pedaling the 3 men on his rickshaw, just made me feel so sad. 1 frail aged man who just wanna earn some penny, huffing and puffing as he cycled, carrying the weight of 3 big men on his vehicle....

Brits in Singapore mock aged rickshaw driver and spark anger over YouTube clip
Three British tourists who mocked a 76-year-old rickshaw driver because he couldn't pedal fast enough for them - then posted a video of the struggling and panting old man on YouTube - have caused uproar in Singapore.
The trio also ran off without paying the £5 fare he requested and escaped in a taxi yelling expletives which were heard on YouTube as they filmed themselves leaving the scene at Clarke Quay, popular nightspot.
Ten dollars my f***ing arse,” yelled one as the video camera showed a close-up of his face.
The video titled “the Slowest Taxi In SE Asia” was posted on the popular site by one of the three, who called himself Bo Davis.
Angered by the way they treated the rickshaw driver dozens of Singaporean bombarded the website and local papers, expressing their feelings and what they would like to do to them.
“Don't come back to Singapore,” wrote one. “We will be waiting for you.”
Another attacked them for behaving like Singapore was still a British colony. And a local tabloid The New Paper splashed the story on the front page with two pages inside, showing the laughing faces of the mocking Brits goading the rickshaw rider.
The video also showed close-ups of the three Brits and the agonised look on the face of the driver, Mr Lee Shee Lam, as he pedalled as fast as he could under the weight of the three men, all in their mid to late twenties.
They were also heard laughing and mocking him. “God, he's in fifth gear,” said one.
They had squeezed into the rickshaw at Clarke Quay for the ten minute ride along the river.
But soon it was clear they were out to poke fun at Mr. Lam along the way.
Liew Hanqing, a reporter at Singapore tabloid, The New Paper, said she managed to communicate with Bo Davis via YouTube which gives his age as 26. She said: “He seemed surprised at the reaction he got from viewers after he posted the video.
This was not bullying,” he told her. “I do not like bullies or bullying.”
Davis told her he posted the video to display his personal account which he had just opened - and didn't think anyone would look at it.
He told Hanqing: “I couldn't believe the comments - I was shocked by the threats. People's reactions were shocking but interesting.”
But later Davis said he was sorry that he had caused so much offence to Singaporeans and posted an apology online. Then he removed the video.
I am sorry for the offence caused, and for being disrespectful to the elderly. But I think it's been blown out of proportion. Yes, I think we were insensitive but not being bullies.”
But the video was put back on YouTube by an another angry Singaporean under the heading UK BASTARDS.
And the anger continued to grow.
Mr. Lam was working again last night in the Clarke Quay area where he is licensed.
He recalled the incident with a grimace and said: “I'd almost forgotten about it, but I was very angry when they ran off without paying." He had no idea they were making fun of him because he does not understand English too well and had no idea they were filming him. “They agreed to pay for the ride but then refused and ran away. I couldn't understand why because I did my best to give them a safe ride.
"I am a bit slow when so many people are in the rickshaw, but I am not a youngster any more, like they are. Perhaps when they get old they will know what it's like!"
"I'm not going to worry about them any more,” he said. “I am sure they are now sorry they did this to me.”

Local celebrity Dasmond Koh mentioned in his blog that the British are working in Sg as models. If my bf is good-looking but treated elderly in this manner, I will not hesitate to kick his ass. And from the article, Bo Davis, one of the bullies said that their act WAS NOT bullying and he himself abhors bullying and bullies.
If what they did was not considered bullying, then I really don't know the definition of the word liao.
And yes, I'm back to blogging again.
Was in low spirits recently thus have the strong urge to just cease blogging, stop doing other activities as I simply don't have the mood to. Maybe I'm PMSing but also partly due to the fact that.... Went Bugis to jalan with small Alicia last Tues cuz we don't have to work as the centre was closed for a 3-day holiday. It's a pity that she's leaving us soon.... She's got herself a new job and this will be the last month that I'll be working with her. Hopefully we'll still keep in touch!

Oh gawd.... I'm feeling so fugly right now!!! Two fcukin big pimples popped on my left cheek and it's so fcukin obvious. Dunno is it because I've just changed to a new cleanser that's causing the outbreak. Duhzzz!! And my hair.....
