Saw a familiar face on the bus when I was on my way to work on Fri. Initially it was just a glance. He looked at me and smiled. Then I took a second look, smiled back and made my way towards him. Sat down next to him and we started to chat. He's my secondary school classmate, Hanyi and he lives near me too! It's been so long since we last saw each other. But his brother and he are still contacting my sister cuz she's their financial planner.Realised that his work place is near mine also, only few stops away. We chatted alot, talked about our common frenz whom we both lost contact with. Then he alighted first while I continued my boring journey to work. It's nice to see long lost frenz once a while and get to know how they are doing in life now that everyone has gone their separate ways. =)My dad very funny. He is illiterate and few days ago, he bought some containers to put the salt and sugar in it. Think the old ones are dirty le bah. Anyway, I was having my lunch when he came to me with a marker and asked me how to write SALT in chinese. (Our conversation was in chinese cum dialect)Me : I dunno leh, I forgot le. (Used my hp to check for him)
Him : You dunno how to write, how to be a teacher and go teach others??
Me : WHAT! I also not teaching Chinese mah! =/
Then a while later, he came to me again and asked me the English word for SUGAR. Him : Is it call SWEET huh?
Me : *Confused for a while* No lah! Is call SUGAR lah~!
HAHAHA! He did a direct translation from Chinese to English. Liddat also can. One of my girlfriend is facing relationship problems. Met up with her recently for dinner after we knocked off from work. We started to talk about r/s stuff and she said sadly that if her bf were to give her another chance (they're still together but the guy said needs to think things over whether they're really suitable for each other), she will treat him better, treat his mother better and will improve herself, etc etc.Sigh, already warned her before le. Now then the regrets. For me, I can proudly say that I never have any regrets in life for everything I did. Becuz everything I did, I put in my very best. Even though things I did were foolish and naive but at least, I will not have any regrets later. Quoting from a magazine, "Life is too short to live it full of endless regrets and 'what-ifs'"
Ending this entry with a picture of a sibei cute sushi.
