Dad's friend gave him a fish few days ago. It's a Soon Hock, the one that was served at my sis's dinner on Sunday. My dad machiam garung-guni lah. He likes to sup things that others threw away or don't want anymore. Stuff that he had "collected" in the past till now include paintings, jigsaw puzzle that was nicely framed, 2 birds (a lovebird and a mini parrot), dog food, etc etc etc... AND now fish!! =(But we don't have any aquarium at home to rear the fish leh. He made a stupid suggestion that was chided by me. He told me to take the live fish with me to my tuition center and see whether my relatives wanna rear it!!! He siao ahh? If they don't want (which is most probably) then I gotta carry the fish home again with me ah?? I am taking public transport ok!! Duhz!!In the end, he placed the fish in a lil' basin and put it under our dining table. The next day, at night, I heard a loud splash of water from the kitchen. I thought that some inconsiderate neighbour had poured water down the building. A while later, I went to the kitchen and looked out of the window in the dark. Hmmm... cant really see anything, so I went back to the living room to mind my own business.About 10 mins later, I went to the kitchen to wash my hands. When I turned and was making my way back to the living room, I saw something black on the floor. Not wearing my contact lens, I squatted down to take a closer look.To my utmost horror, the fish had leapt out of the basin and crawled/wriggled a distance away from the basin. It wasn't moving, neither was its gill cover. I feared that it might be dead due to the lack of water so I screamed my lungs out at my brother who was playing games on the computer.Ah xiong!!! Quick come save the fish!! It has leapt out of the basin!! Come quick Come save it!!!"
My bro dashed to the scene and using his bare hands, he caught hold of the fish and put it back into the water. Luckily it was still alive =))))The first thought on my mind was that it wanna escape from us. Or maybe it wanna commit suicide. Haizz. Then I woke my mum who was sleeping and told her about the incident. Mum said she had already told Dad off and she wanted him to give it to a worker at his workplace. The worker could cook the fish to eat as the meat of Soon Hock tasted yummy.Hearing this, I felt so sad for the lil' fish. It's still a baby fish leh, seeing how it tried to escape earlier on made me feel so sorry for it. I talked sense into Mum, telling her its too cruel and we should juz set if free. Mum began to agree with me too. She told me to put something above the basin so that the fish would not be able to leap out again and I followed her instruction immediately.The next day, I told Dad about the incident and talked sense into him too about setting it free instead of letting others cook it. It's juz too cruel. The thought of cooking it when it's still alive in front of me juz made me wanna weep. Ya lah, I am simply too emotional when it comes to animals getting hurt or killed. I dunno Dad will insist on giving it to the worker or not but I had done my best for the poor thing.This afternoon, I realized that the fish was gone!! Asked Dad of the whereabouts of the fish and he said that he had set it free in the big canal near his workplace. I feel so happy =)))))
++++++++++++Weekend is over in the twinkling of an eye. Tml is Monday again. Hopefully I won't have any blues.... As usual, I will have to walk the long long path to the center.

I worked in an underground center that's actually an air raid shelter. Thus phone reception damn bad de. At times if I'm lucky, smses still manage to reach me and phone manages to ring but hor, I can't reply at all nor hear what the caller says due to the poor poor reception.Always remind my friends lots of times about it but it always slip their minds. In the end, they will complain why I did not reply or answer their calls. Sigh. Not I don't want to lah but I can't. I have to wait till my classes are over then I can reply them when I'm out of the center. That will be like... few hours later already. So pls don't get mad at me if you can't reach me. I will try to once I can =) Received quite a number of stuff I've purchased online but I'm too lazy to take pics of them so I will only post 2 of the accessories lor. Lurve the design of the earrings. Adore anything that looks gothic. Unfortunately the gold metal used in the making was of poor quality. Disappointed at how the product turned out to be. The seller's items were selling fast everytime she puts them up for sale. I sort of have high expectation of it. Definitely not worth the money as I've paid quite an amount for it =(
This piece was flown in all the way from HongKong!! What I see is what I get. Im damn satisfied with it and it's so cheap!! Plus shipping everything, it's less than $20!! What a catch! Aunt D exclaimed it looked beautiful too =D
