Bro-in-law and sis took us to dinner at Seletar Country Club on Saturday. It was quite an ULU place, right inside Seletar Camp and is near Seletar Airport. It was really a nice place, very serene and the food tasted nice and cheap!
Then we went to IKEA at Tampines to walk around after the meal. Dad saw a metal cupboard that he likes and he intends to keep all his boxes of buddha pendants in it. However, he did not get it eventually cuz we don't know whether it will fit in sis's car or not. He looked very disappointed and kept turning his head to look at it as we were leaving....
The next day, I smsed my friend and asked him to accompany me to get the metal cupboard. Dad's birthday is tml so instead of just giving him a red packet, the cupboard that is quite cheap becomes the perfect gift =)
Friend obliged and came to fetch me despite him being very exhausted already. As there wasn't any hawker centres nearby, he drove to Pasir Ris Park and we had our meals there. Actually he had already eaten before meeting me so he only ate fries while I ordered Pan Fried Fish.
Really hope I can go to Genting in Dec during my one month holiday. However, I don't think there will still be rooms available by then
