I can finally come online *HAPPY**
My CPU was down thus I couldn't use the Internet for the past 2 weeks. Bro managed to get hold of a CPU but unfortunately, there seemed to be problem detecting my cable modem. Called StarHub for assistance and realised that I had thrown the Motorola installation cd away while I was packing my cupboard recently. =(
In the end, I still couldn't surf the Net and had to guai guai wait for StarHub to mail me the CD. Mailing took days due to the public holidays, sigh. Cd arrived today and thus able to start blogging once more. The negative part is that everything I had in my previous CPU were all gone for good. All my photos, songs and stuff that I wanna blog about were all gone =(
I'm gonna save up and purchase a new desktop next year. The current one I'm using really sucks. And I'm still darn broke, dunno how I'm going to survive at all. Money Money Money~~ I don't need anything at all right now EXCEPT MONEY!!!!
Just a summary of what I've been up to for the past 2 weeks. I met up with Qi and Von at Orchard for dinner and Christmas shopping. I only bought wedding pressies for June (that has passed) and Kenny (in Jan next year).
I've also attended June's solemnization with my colleague Big Alicia. Though the couple don't know Alicia at all but she's there to keep me company. There ain't a soul there whom I recognize so June said I could bring a partner. Dec is a rainy season and that day rained cats and dogs. Somemore it was that very day that cab fare increased. Super expensive lah, stupid taxis!! After 5pm is additional 35% on top of the fare =(
The venue was at Beach Culture @ WaterCross, Pasir Ris Park. Quite ULU but the food served was yummilicious. Did not bring a camera nor take any pic so no eye-candy. Then we adjourned to WhiteSand Mall to walk walk before her hubby came to fetch her while I took a bus back. Really thankful to her for accompanying me else I surely damn bored there.
Went JB yesterday with Viyond, Billy and wife and Ma-K. They came to fetch me and Billy drove us there. I feel quite at ease with them cuz they're all Malaysians thus know the country better. Funny thing was that I couldn't recognise Ma-K at all!! It was after a while when I took a closer look at the man sitting next to me at the table when I found his features very very familiar. I whispered to Viyond and asked whether he's Ma-K and I even thought that he might be Ma-K's brother. Wahaha!
I did enjoy myself as it's my first time going to JB. Food were all on them, hehe, but next time when I have the spare cash, I will treat them back. For the time being, let the richer ones treat the poorer ones lah. Billy's wife, Irene went to rebond her hair while the rest of us started shopping at City Square.
So many nice stuff but so lil' money. Haizz. My purchases were only a pair of Padini jeans, Levis black velvet shorts and some local products for my family. They are intending to go again next Sunday, but to another mall in JB. Dunno I will have the money anot leh.
Viyond passed me Kenny's ROM invitation yest too. Venue is at Cineleisure KBOX K-Union. Good, good! Good location and at least I feel more at ease with lotsa people whom I know. FYI, all these people are my KBOX ex-colleagues who are from the management. Really enjoy their company. Thanks for letting me tag along everytime huh.... *MUAKZ*
It's Christmas eve today and I'm staying home. Dun feel like going out anyway so I'll just snuggle at home with my Baby and family.
