Woke up from a call by Pauline at 11 plus in the morning. I know it's going to be noon already but I'm just so exhausted. She asked whether I wanna meet her go town for some shopping cuz she needed to purchase some stuff. I had to reject her lah cuz I've already planned to stay home for the whole of this weekend. Not that I'm guai or what-so-ever but my bank account is empty liao and I'm super duper broke! Haizz, waiting for my salary to come in this coming week.
I'm oh-so-broke to the extend that I don't have the financial means to even top up my EZ-Link card. Yeah, it's that bad. But I did accompany my parents to TPY Ctrl cuz Mum wanna go walk walk and get some stuff and Dad wanna buy some jeans/pants for his upcoming trip. Dad knew I don't have money le thus he took out $20 for me to top up my fare-card. However, the machine available only accept NETS thus Mum used hers to help me top-up instead.
Haizz, really feel so ashamed of myself at times when I still gotta rely on my parents financially. But in changing my job this time, I do hope that in future, I can have a higher income thus allowing me to give my parents more allowance.
I love my family.
Even Sis who is damn thrifty, has given a loan of $500 to me in this month. At least everytime when I'm in financial difficulty, she will not hesitate to go through the trouble to transfer money to me. Somehow, I guess our relationship has improved.....
I did go for the interview after all. Took mc and Sis drove me to One Fullerton where the company was situated. The first impression as I stepped into the company was.... WOW! The place looked really bright, organized and nice! Somemore can see the beautiful sea view! The staff there looked really young and well-dressed. The receptionists who greeted me looked pretty too! It did leave a good impression in me...
They gave me the application form to sign up. Saw another man who was there for the interview as well. My friend did inform me that it would be a pair interview together. It was in fact the first time the company decided to do a group interview and I'm just so sway lah can! My performance was really poor as I couldn't answer the scenario questions that the manager threw to me. My mind sort of went blank and I was stammering and muttering nonsense lah. Don't wish to elaborate further =(
I guess I wouldn't get the job after all. The other man's responses were rather good. He could speak really well too, plus he did have similar working experiences. Most likely he would get in instead. Then when the interview ended and we were making our way to the exit, I saw June with her colleague standing at the receptionist area. Went up to her and chatted with her for a while.
After pouring out to her that I've flunked the interview for good, she told me that the receptionists had exclaimed to her earlier that a very pretty lady had come for the interview. June, knowing that there's only me and the man who had come for the interview asked the recepts whether the name was Serene and told them that I'm her friend! Wahaha... Even though I might not get the job but it's really flattering to hear compliments from the pretty girls.
After that, I took a bus to Suntec City and called Kenny whose outlet is in Marina Square whether he wanna meet for dinner. He was on his way to work and agreed to meet up. He treated me to dinner and invited me to his KBOX outlet to sing for free. Initially thought of meeting Viy too, thus I rested in the room with Kenny coming in to accompany me to chat once a while. In the end, did not manage to meet Viy. Think she's tired from work le bah and so she headed home instead. Did not stay for long and I left for home soon after.
Oh ya, talk about Viy, met her last week after my Sk classes for dinner cum supper. Over the meal, she told me that the last time we attended Kenny's ROM and she had chatted with one of the 2 guys who came out from the lift as we were leaving. She asked whether I still remember the guy and being someone with poor memory, obviously I can't remember anything at all. She said that the guy commented that I'm cute and wanna know me. Keke! Viy said the guy kept pestering her to intro me to him lah. Then she further added that... She has never found me cute at all!! Wahaha! I simply lurve such "NICE" and frank gfs lah. Ya lah, I also can't find any cutye side of me. I'm not CUTE. I'm just GORGEOUS! =P Just kidding~
Chatted with June on msn earlier and she told me another flattering news. She showed her bro the photos that I took during my flying trip in Msia in Dec. He praised that.... I look like a celebrity!!!
WAHAHAHAHA!!!!
I told her to convey the msg that photos are often deceiving and many commented that I don't look like the me in the photos. But she assured me that I do look like the photos lah and encouraged me to have more confidence in myself. She also reminded me that her recepts found me very pretty mah!
Ok Ok...
But I only look presentable with tons of make-up lah! SO I guess my make-up skills did improve bah~~ Hehe.
Have not seen Fion since Aug last year. We have been busy with our personal lives and finally had a brief conversation with her on msn today. Though she did ask whether I'm available to meet up but like I've mentioned, I'm too broke to even go out. Meet again AFTER I've got my pay yah!
Had become closer with big Alicia. We can throw really crude remarks at each other then laughing it off. We have become so close that we chatted almost everyday on the phone for hours and hours! She's really like a nice big sister to me. Small Alicia and I will be going to her home this coming CNY again to bai nian. I told her to prepare big ang pows, buy nice food, chocolates, and bak kua for meeee! She agreed of cuz as she really dotes on us.
I know that my entries have been boring but I'm just so tired everytime I reach home. My classes this year are a nightmare to me!! Soo many notti and rowdy children that no matter how I screamed my lungs out at them, they started making noise again after a while. Sigh. I ended with a strain and rather sore throat after teaching at nights. Glad that I'm teaching till this coming Tues only. Will be free from lil' monsters after that!! =D
Been actively looking for jobs. I do hope to find one that I will enjoy working in and of cuz is paying well. I know it's hard to have the best of both worlds but anyway, will keep you guys updated again.
