I'm hesitating whether to start hunting for a new job soon. Having second thoughts to stay any longer in my current one. The reason is simple.

As a consumer, I hate it when the staff starts following me around like a ghost, machiam I wanna steal their stuff liddat. So why am I being a ghost myself right now??!!

Not to forget the fierce competition from the aggressive colleagues. You can hear/see one bad mouthing another almost everyday. I don't like such environment. One whereby conflicts arise so easily.

What to do? Everyone kept telling me that's how it is being in an all female environment.

And at times when your customers got snatched away by others and you can do nothing about it but to zip your mouth and walk away with all your effort and time wasted.

Already told a few souls I might not be suitable for this type of environment. I do like selling the stuff there but I do not like tailing others around. It's unlike those downtown beauty counters where the staff just tend to the customers who walked to them themselves. At the airport, once a customer set foot in our outlet, our staff will flock to them like the speed of lightning and started following them around. We are the predator and they are our prey. Sounds scary isn't it? It is!!!

And I used to think the service there will be so much better compared to other town area's cuz it's the prestigious airport we are talking about here. Sadly again, it's not. I can grade myself 9/10, 1 point lost cuz of my insufficient knowledge of the wide variety of products we have there thus I might not be able to assist my customers well but in terms of service, I am THAT GOOD! Someone should award me with the best service award man, hehe.

I treat others the way I would like to be treated back =)


So I am starting to look for a new job again lor =((
