Back from work not too long ago. Shared a cab back with a colleague, Eveline cuz it was pouring heavily. I think Eveline's really chio, with nice features, skin color and long flowing hair. In fact, I think there are really quite a number of babes in the team. Carrie, whom I feel strongly that she resembles Yvonne alot, is a chiobu too. Oh yeah, there's even one who looks like RIHANNA!!
Training has started for 3 days already. The 1st day, we were briefed on the company's history and background, the rules and regulations, shop's concept etc. The rest of the week, lessons were conducted at Urban Beauty Academy located at Bukit Timah Rd.
Yest was taught on skincare and the lesson was rather dry that lots of us almost fell asleep. Carrie said my face totally showed of my fatigue. Ya lor, when I'm weary, it's pratically written on my face. I will look damn stoned one. I nearly did doze off too, trying hard to pry my eyes open and occasionally giving a nod to the trainer so that she will think I'm listening but in fact I'm half gone already.
Today's lesson was on hair & a pro hairdresser from Tony & Guyz came down to teach us a rope or two on hair products & how to correctly blow-dry hair etc. We were also paired up & had to practice on each other's hair. Dun think I still know how to do it properly, no easy task at all! At the end of the class, the hairdresser commented on each of us the correct hair color & hair style to suit us.
The comment she gave me was that I should dye my hair a darker tone to suit my skin & contact lens. Told her that my dye was initially red but faded. Then she replied that red also dun suit me.... And that my fringe should either be kept above the brows or to keep it long. Sad lah cuz I juz cut off my long fringe... And finally she commented that my hair length is to be either cut short or to keep it longer & to perm. Informed her that many stylists dun wish to perm my hair due to my hair texture and that the curls wun hold at all. She was confident that my hair's fine with digital perm & I really ought to perm it.. Haizz. I did before leh, at Jean Yip but outcome was horrendous that I went to rebond back 2 days after the perm. Sigh.. See how again bah! I dun wish to look like a cave woman lehhh.
Tml we will be taught on make-up and finally Fri on fragrances. Hopefully we dun have to apply make-up on each other's face cuz we already have our make-up on! As for fragrances, I dun have a good sense of smell leh & usually can't differentiate the scents.
Training sounds fun and interesting but some of us are beginning to worry about certain issues already. Some of the benefits or conditions turned out to be different from what had been promised to us in the very first place. Eg.the number of working hours. Very misleading and as if kena cheated.... Shall not elaborate further.
Hazel will be away for a holiday to Thailand from tml onwards. Luckily the gals are rather nice & friendly de so I wun feel too bored or lonely.
Recently been receiving a prank call. One woman had been dialling my number, looking for someone who doesn't exist. Once, she called looking for
"AH HOON" and hung up after I told her she got the wrong number. Shortly this siao charbo called again looking for
"Ah Li" and this time I was getting irritated and shouted to her that she got the wrong number! After I hung up on her, she called again....
NABEH! If this is not prank call then what?! Calling the same number looking for different people. She got a loose screw inside her head isit?? Yest I saw the same number giving me a missed call during my class. Did not answer it cuz was having lesson. I will just reject the calls next time. Dun wanna waste my breath on such retard tho I have free incoming calls.
