I've never used antiseptic mouthwash in my life before. Usually I will only gurgle my mouth with tap water after brushing. But nowadays, Im quite a bit of health conscious. I feel that my teeth are starting to become yellowish with the build up of tartar on them. Even though frenz all exclaimed that my teeth look white to them but I still feel yucky.
And so, one day, I saw an advertisement of a new product of Listerine. It's colour was a baby blue with the slogan "For Bright & Clean Teeth" screaming at me. It promises to keep teeth bright & clean with Whitenol to prevent the build-up of discoloring tartar. And of cuz the killing of germs that causes bad breath & against plaque.
I was so tempted that eventually, I bought a 250ml bottle back from WATSON.
At night, I was so excited at the thought of my teeth becoming pearly white soon, I immediately poured half a cap of Listerine into my mouth & started to gurgle.....
Within seconds, I had the shock of my life!! My tongue was in such pain that I thought it was going to be "cooked" by the liquid. Serious, no joke! The instruction was to gurgle it for a good 30-60s but I can tahan no more. I spit it out & rinse my mouth with cooling tap water.
The tip of my tongue became numb for a while. Perhaps it's suppose to be feel that way (not?) cuz it's afterall, an antiseptic mouthwash??
