My day started with....
- Woke up at 10am and nua-ed, washed up, showered, prepared and finally left home at 1150am. Ya lah, I really must take approximately 2 hours everytime to get everything ready before I can leave home, hoho! Cuz I take half an hr to shower (shampoo hair, apply hair mask as conditioner, apply shower gel, cleanse my face) and 10 mins just to blow my hair. So.. 40 min gone already!! Then apply toner, moisturizer, wait for it to set, then base make-up, wait for it to set, then liquid foundation, concealer, loose powder, and eye make-up, etc etc. But I really cannot skip any of it leh... Duhz!
- Took a bus to Braddell Mrt Station and transit at Raffles Station to BoonLay line.
- Finally reached BoonLay station at 1255pm. Loathe the boring long journey, 20 fcuking stations okie!!
- Met up with Qi and a friend of hers and took another bus to Von's home.
- Stayed there till 330pm before Qi and I left. Pauline called and smsed whether I wanna do Brazilian wax but I'm too exhausted cuz of my flu so did not join her. Qi and I took a bus back to BoonLay Interchange and we window-shopped at Jurong Point till 530pm before she went to meet her family while I took the train back to Toa Payoh. Slept in the train the whole journey back.
- Bought my sweet and sour fish with egg and rice, a packet of fresh milk, biscuits and pantyliners from NTUC before taking a bus home.
- Dead tired when I stepped into my home sweet home at around 730pm. Browsed through the Chinese newspapers then had my dinner while watching the Korean show on Tv. My flu is still that bad and talking is quite tedious for me as my throat is always dry. Need to keep on clearing my throat the whole day. Flu is so bad that my ears are slightly blocked as well, wtf.
- Pauline called at 850pm and asked to meet up at Toa Payoh Central. Even though I'm really weary but since she's willing to come down my area and I still had my make-up on, I agreed to meet her for a chill out session. Turned out she did not do the wax today as she met her friends till quite late.
- Reached central at 920pm and we walked around as some of the shops were still opened. Finally settled at MAC to gossip and rest, while sipping our hot tea at the same time. Talked about our Taiwan trip. Turned out that a friend of hers and the girl's hubby want to join us in the Taiwan trip. So the four of us will be heading to EXPO tml to check out the packages available at the NATAS fair. Her friend suggested extending the trip to maybe around 10D9N! Where to find so much money??!
- Parted at 1130pm so that we are able to catch the public transport home.
- Had a quick shower (around 10-15mins only lah cuz I don't have to wash my hair again), woke my bro up cuz I need him to key in his password lah as I wanna use his pc and here I am blogging again, yeah~!
Siannnnnnn leh, today took the train to one end of Sg (BoonLay), tml still must take the train to another end (Changi), really sick of the long journey wor. And Qi's friend who went to Von's house with us wasn't invited initially! She don't know Von but she knows Von's hubby, Don. She did mention to Don that she wanna go take a look at their home but Don did not invite her at all. And when she knew Qi is going, she asked Qi to ask Von whether she could tag along too... Hehe, this girl is so thick-skin de. Actually this girl, same name as Von, is having her house renovated so she's rather curious how Von's house's interior design looks like. Anyway she's quite friendly thus it's fine with us for her to follow.
Big Alicia is going to start work this coming Monday. She got a job as a manager at Standard Chartered Bank, so goood~ Without any prior experience in a bank still can be manager. Small Alicia is still vexed over the choice of studying a degree or go back to the work force. She doesn't know what she wants at all.
For me, my mind is set. I want to build up my career slowly as I don't have enough experience in any field. The past 3 years of teaching really is a waste of my time! Every job out there required relevant experience of 2-3 years above and I really have none. I do not wish to go back to teaching thus I have to start everything from scratch again and at entry level. It's okay, better be late than never!
2.33am already, I need to get my beauty rest. Oops! Forgot to take my medicine today. The pills ain't good for my flu at all. Wanna complete my course of antibiotic first before deciding to pay another visit to the doc again. Mummy said my cousin's baby had to visit the doc 3 times before he recovered. Qi said her bf visited the doc 3 times for his cough.... I guess the virus out there has evolved to be much more deadly that we simply need stronger dose to eliminate them. My doc said that last week, our neighbouring countries sent us "gift" again and the air pollution was rather bad that many people fell sick. Haizz, but I really hope that I don't have to visit my doc 3 times too cuz firstly, I'm gonna be broke soon and secondly, the doc is not yandao at all lorrrrr.... =P
Before I end this entry, take a look at the new
heel-less high heels. It's already difficult to walk on heels with the fear of tripping, how to walk wearing the
high heels without heels? Omg wtf am I saying... Anyway, ladies gotta TIP-TOE instead!! Won't get cramp mehhhh??? The design in heels are really oh-my-wtf these days....
